The KNOX is the first convertible seat to feature UPPAbaby's SMARTSecure system including an indicator window that turns from red to green when the seat is correctly installed. With a focus on safety, the Multi-Directional Tether reduces injury potential by 45% when used in rear-facing mode. Energy Response Technology delivers unparalleled side impact protection from top to bottom with an eight-position Active Support Headrest, Side Impact Pods and an Impact Dispersion Zone of EPP foam throughout the seat. The KNOX is the first child restraint to feature innovative Koroyd technology integrated into the base designed to absorb the maximum amount of energy from an impact.

  • Grows With You: The Knox Convertible Car Seat is designed for kids approximately 1–6 years old, with both rear-facing (14–45 lbs) and forward-facing (25–65 lbs) modes. The no-rethread harness, eight-position headrest, and four-position recline all adjust quickly and easily as your child grows. Plus, the two-piece inlay allows for flexibility and proper fit in the harness system, promoting optimum recline. 
  • Safety You Can See: Our unique SmartSecure® system, technology, utilizing a tightness indicator and robust tension clips, provides a visual guide to aid in achieving a correct installation. Additionally, color-coded seatbelt paths make installation easy to understand. 
  • A Chemical-Free Choice: Through its innovative use of our CleanTech™ Collection Merino wool, the Jordan and Gregory Fashions pass federal safety standards without the use of fire-retardant chemicals. The wicking properties of Merino wool keep kids cool on hot days and warm on cool days. The Knox features both our SafeTech™ and PureTech™ fabrics and foam that are free from fire retardant chemicals. Plus, all fabrics are removeable and washable. 
  • Tether Them Better: The Multi-Directional Tether reduces seat rotation and stress on the child’s head and neck in the event of an impact and is strongly recommended with both rear and forward-facing installations. When used in rear-facing mode, the Tether can reduce injury potential by 45%.* 
  • Energy Response Technology: A family of features designed to protect and provide unparalleled side impact protection including Active Support Headrest, Side Impact Pods, and an Impact Dispersion Zone with specialized EPP foam. 
  • Side Impact Pods: Positioned on the side of the shell and always engaged, the Side Impact Pods absorb and deflect crash forces during a side-impact crash. 
  • Active Support Headrest: Absorption and recovery properties of specialized foams in the Active Support Headrest provide advanced side impact protection that grows with your child. 
  • Impact Dispersion Zone: Strategic placement of EPP foam between the inner and outer shell ensures forces are absorbed into the seat rather than the child. 
  • The Ultimate Damage Control System: Koroyd® was developed from aerospace safety research and is now built into the base of the KNOX car seat, providing more advanced impact protection. The welded tubes crumple instantly and consistently on impact, absorbing maximum force in a controlled manner, minimizing energy transferred to the child. 
  • Included Cup Holder: Sippy cup or water bottle, the Knox includes a removable cup holder that can attach to either side of the seat. When spills happen, the cup holder can be used in the dishwasher.

Baby Biz strives to provide our customers with the highest quality merchandise and a fabulous shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your on-line, non-custom item, you may return it, for a refund, exchange, or store credit within 30 days from the date received. For all returns after 7 days, store credit will be awarded.  Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. Clothing items must not have been worn and tags must be attached. Oversize items may require a nominal restocking fee. Upon receipt of your approved return, Baby Biz will issue a refund, store credit, or ship the item you selected in exchange.

 

Custom-designed items, personalized items, and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that are custom, personalized or made-to-order are sometimes but not always noted in either the product description.

Defective Items

Please contact Baby Biz at 432-520-5405 within 30 days of the delivery date. After this time, please contact the manufacturer directly for information. Defective merchandise will be covered under the manufacturer's warranty and subject to their conditions on any warranty that may apply. Baby Biz will not be able to replace defective items after 30 days of receipt.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives at your door damaged, broken, or defective, we will either replace the broken parts if possible or ship out a new one at our discretion and at our expense. Please be sure to inspect your item(s) carefully for any concealed damage.

Contact Baby Biz within 7 business days of the delivery date to report the damage. Please be sure to have information such as model number, serial number, date of manufacture and any part numbers available. We will not be able to replace damaged merchandise if we are not notified within 7 business days of the delivery date. This applies to canceling and returning a damaged item as well.

Requests for replacement parts will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we are not able to express ship replacement pieces.
